TAXATION

Please note, this site is still under development, we do apologise for any inconveniences caused.

Taxation, being a crossover of accounting and law, have always been an area riddled with complexities. To exacerbate the matter, Tax Laws and SARS Practices keeps changing at an unprecedented pace. With the advent of the Tax Administration Act, the Tax Advisory arena embarked on a new era. The need to stay up to date with new developments in tax have became so intense that legislation and by extension, SARS have made it mandatory for Tax Advisers to belong to a professional Recognized Controlling Body (RCB) and for the advisers have at least 15 hours of Continuous Professional Development (CPD) hours on tax matters annually. A selected few professional bodies satisfied the required criteria with the South African Institute of Tax Practitioners (SAIT) taking the lead in engaging with SARS and setting Taxation Standards. We are members of two of the RCBs namely SAIT and CSSA (Chartered Secretaries Southern Africa, the latter being the home of Accountants and Corporate Governance Professionals. Accordingly, it goes without saying it that we have the professional dexterity to unravel your tax complexities.
